IMPROMPTU BOWIE TEXAS RUN 12-20-10

Monday, 12-20-10, while down at JIM'S BIKE DETAIL SHOP, in Wichita Falls, Texas, Jim, Dearl and Troy decided to make a run down to Bowie Texas, a town about 50 miles South of here, with a quick stop in Henrietta Texas to see Charlie at FOUR STARS MOTORCYCLE RANCH. They asked me to ride with them and I readily agreed. Ride along with us on this impromptu run and REMEMBER: IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE PICTURE BIGGER, JUST CLICK ON THE PICTURE.

We had to run by my place so I could switch out cameras. After doing so, we were on our way. Here is Jim as we head North on Barnett Rd enroute to US82.
That's Troy on the left and Dearl on the right as we head North on Barnett Rd.

We take US82 East until we can get onto Southbound US287. Here are Troy & Dearl after we get established on US287.

Here is Jim as we head to Henrietta Texas

We get to Henrietta Texas and pull into the CONOCO Gas Station so Jim can top off his tank. Here is Jim at the pumps.

Jim parks his Harley and then goes inside for a coffee..

We leave the gas station and head South on TX148 enroute to Four Stars Motorcycle Ranch located on TX148 & US287. Troy & Dearl are up front and Jim is in front of me.

We park our bikes and look at some of the bikes for sale before going inside to look for Charlie

A view of some of the bikes at Four Stars Motorcycle Ranch.

This is Robert's set up. Very, Very nice!!

They had this Can Am Spyder for sale I took this picture of it in honor of Ted W, who all you regular viewers know. He rides the red Can Am Spyder at our PGR Missions.
Charlie was out of the office and not on site, so we got ready to head down to Crashs Cycles in Bowie Texas. Here are Troy & Dearl getting ready to head out. For more on FOUR STARS MOTORCYCLE RANCH, see this link: www.fourstarsautoranch.com , then click on motorcycles.

We get back up on US287 and head South. Dearl and Troy are now behind Jim & me. Dearl waves when he sees me raise my camera over my shoulder.
