The scratch on Laura K's gas tank after some guys sat on the bike.

Another view of the gas tank of Laura K's bike. Hopefully she can get it fixed inexpensively.

Sissy pops the trunk on her Harley Trike to get some goodies.

Ted and Laura C, at the Antelope Texas Baptist Church stop.

This is Robert & Derek, both firefighters with the Joy Texas VFD

The back of Derek's shirt...

Laura K, Russ and Moe at in Antelope Texas

Tammy, Tim and Sissy talking at the stop in Antelope Texas

Ronda, giving the left foot a break as she sits on their bike

Quite a line of bikes. While rolling we stretched out pretty close to a mile between lead bike and last bike at times

Russ rechecking his GPS system, as he ended up being Ride Captain on this ride.

Moe, me and Laura K., in front of the Antelope Texas Baptist Church.

Our group of riders. Didn't get to count them all but there was about 40-50 bikes.. there was another group in front of us and another behind us.

Mike and Russ having a talk about things...

This is the group of folks riding with us from Joy Texas

Terry and Ronda leaving the Antelope Texas Baptist Church parking lot

Moe and Dennis fixin' to head out of the Antelope Texas Baptist Church stop..

The riders heading out from the Antelope Texas Baptist Church...

Ted enroute to the next stop...

Ted and the long formation in front of us.

Riders going around a slow moving vehicle on a curve. Ted, in front of me, as we approach the vehicle

We had to swing wide to get around this truck on this narrow 2 lane country road. Ted is in front taking his turn going left of center.

The view behind me. That is Tex and Laura riding the center stripe.

More of the riders behind me and behind Tex and Laura

Ted, as we roll down one of the country roads enroute to Joy Texas

Don't have any idea who the folks are on the trike or just in front of them. But on rides like this, just like rides anywhere, we are all brothers & sisters in the wind and in most cases, watch each others back..

We made this stop in at a 4 way intersection and never even got of the bikes. A lady came by and gave us our tickets and we pulled out, heading towards Joy Texas.

As we cruised on down the road on our iron horses, we passed this couple on their real horses. The motorcycles, as loud as we were, didn't even bother the horses..

This was my view from the rear where I was now located after the confusion at the last "stop".

The riders behind me now, as we continue onto Joy Texas

We pass a rider or two heading the other way

Riders park their bikes and head inside for some burgers, hot dogs, cold drinks and desert.. and it was well worth the ride that brought us here

We park the bikes and head in for food...

A.J. is thinking " Please God, make John go away". I did too, didn't I, A.J.? But I came back a short time later. lol

I take a picture of Laura at the same time see took a picture of me and her flash went off, giving us this picture that makes her look just brilliant!!!

The line inside to eat was long but went quick. From the front to the back (that I know) are: Randall, Moe, Laura C., Russ and the guy at the far end of the table with the black t-shirt and white beard, is Ted

Lori & me inside the room where the lunch was being served...

Somebody had two hamburgers, some beans and a small bags of Fritos for lunch. I don't think all this was eaten....

Meagan, looks around as her Dad, Terry looks on. Meagan's daughter, Mylee, is being held by Meagan's mom, Ronda..

Jimmy at the far end, Tex, Laura and Dennis are at our table.

Moe talks to Dennis about his leather getting some patches sewn on.. Moe sews on patches for us too...

Here are Meagan, her daughter Mylee is being held by Ronda and Terry is on the end. Ronda & Terry have ridden with us before when we went up to Oklahoma for a benefit ride in Medicine Park, Oklahoma.

Mylee is sitting on her Grandpa's (Terry) bike in Joy Texas.,.

A closeup f the future biker Chic, Mylee...

Some of the bikes there in Joy Texas

More of the bikes in Joy Texas that were on the 2nd Annual Smokey The Bear Run..

This is Randy. He is one of the Joy Texas firefighters.

This is Clay.. He was basically running the show and making all the announcements. From the way he was talking, I gathered he was the Fire Chief. I am sure I will be corrected if I'm wrong.

The is Steve, another of the Joy Texas Firefighter. I think he and Randy were assistant cooks for today's meal.

After eating, they drew the tickets for door prizes outside. It was starting to warm up and riders were standing in the shade of the building. Well, most were. That's Laura & Tex standing out in the sun...

Here is Bud, sitting in the shade of the tree. That's Russ in the yellow long sleeve shirt over Bud's right shoulder. They were trying to get everyone to wear yellow shirts under their vests to support the "Cancer Suvivors Awareness" program

Mike, as we get ready to go to the bikes

Laura, stows some gear in her saddlebag as Dennis & Moe, get ready to pull out. A.J. is on his bike firing it up. Laura and Dennis & Moe, were going home a different route than we were.

Some of the other bikers get read to leave the area.

The group on the left is: Russ, Sissy,Laura C, and Randall. The group on the right is Dennis & Moe and Tammy & Tim. We were getting ready to leave and head home.

Tim & Tammy hed to their bike to get ready to go.

As we leave the BBQ and head out for home, we pass the Joy Texas, Volunteer Fire Department

Heading home in front of me are: AJ, Lori, Tim & Tammy, Randall and Russ up front leading us home..

Russ and the rest of us, back off the throttle and settle in this Texas DPS Trooper...

Here is Russ as we head North up Sisk Rd. This will conclude PART II of this post. I had a great time on this ride and meeting some new folks.
