DESIGNMASTERS TATTOO STUDIO 1-5-2011

Today, Wednesday 1-5-11, I went down to Designmasters Tattoo Studio, in Wichita Falls Texas, to see Tony and Gerald and also, to get some pictures of the business to do a post for the North Texas Bikers IV blog. Scroll down and join me as I visit the folks at Designmasters and REMEMBER: IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE PICTURES BIGGER, JUST CLICK ON THE PICTURE.

Designmasters Tattoo Studio is located at 3502-B Sheppard Access Rd in Wichita Falls Texas. The business phone is 940-733-9151.

The green truck parked by the business belongs to Gerald, owner of Designmasters and is up for sale.

The truck is a 1972 GMC, has 10,000 miles on a 350 engine, with cam and headers, new brakes and door seals. Gerald is asking $3,750 obo. If interested, call him at 940-733-9151 and he can answer any other questions you may have about the pick-up. This is a good looking and strong running truck and I don't think it will be on the market for long.

Front & drivers side

Passenger side.. It also looks like it has new rubber all around.

The business is noted for exceptional work by the artists and by the hearse parked out front.

The rear of the hearse complete with bolted on dagger.

The entrance to Designmasters Tattoo Studio

The hearse as seen from the front door of the business. It runs also, as, Gerald went out and fired it up when I was there.

I went in and looked at the office area. That is Tony, the manager/artist at the counter

This is Gerald, the owner of Designmasters Tattoo Studio. He was in the process of drawing up a new design

This is Tony's Station, where he does his work. All of the artists at Designmasters are experts at what they do and I highly recommend them for those of you who like to be inked. I am lining up some work for Tony to do on my arms.

Some of the ink and tools of the trade at Gerald's Station

While I was there, Nick (above) was getting his first tattoo down his right arm and Jason was the artist preparing to put on the ink.

This is Nick and I have his permission to use his pictures being inked by Jason today. I also have Jason's permission. Thanks guys, I appreciate it!

I walk back up to the counter, while Jason gets ready, and talk to Tony and Gerald.

I hear the sound of the tattoo gun in use and walk back down to Jason's station to watch him work on Nick's arm

Jason inking Nick's arm. Jason was totally focused while working on Nick and Nick didn't seem to mind being worked on.

Here is the aquarium. Inside are either Chinese Algae eaters or two very large plecostomus

I walk to the counter and talk to Gerald and Tony for awhile, then I left the business after taking this picture of Gerald and Tony talking. I enjoyed visiting Designmasters Tattoo Studio today and talking to everyone there. Thanks again to Gerald for letting me do this post on his business and also thanks to Tony and Jason for letting me take pics of their stations and Jason working on Nick.
If you are into tattoo's and want them done right by professional tattoo artists, then I highly recommend Designmasters Tattoo Studio. They have over 50 years experience and they do: old tattoo's made new, custom tattooing, portraits and cover-ups. Call them today or stop in and see them for your tattooing needs. You won't be disappointed.
Scroll down for more rides, runs and events and don't forget to click on the "OLDER POSTS" link at the bottom of each page or directly under the last post on the page, for more of the same.
Continue to pray for ALL of our troops both in and out of Harms Way, especially for Che Whitaker and Chris Drage, both of whom are serving in the Afghanistan Theatre of Operations.
Until the next post, ya'll be careful out there, keep your head on a swivel, keep the rubber on the road and most importantly.....RIDE SAFE!!! .............JOHN
