CHAPS MY ASS, MEDICINE PARK OKLAHOMA 7-14-10

On Wednesday, 7-14-10, The Blue Knights TX XX LE/MC, made a ride up to Medicine Park, Oklahoma to stop in at one of the favorite biker apparel & accessories shops here in the North Texas/Southern Oklahoma area, Chaps My Ass. Chaps My Ass is nestled in Medicine Park , which is located in the Wichita Mountains and is a very scenic ride to get to. One of the people you will meet there, is Janelle. She is my favorite sales person there and is knowledgeable in all areas of the store. She will help you find whatever you are looking for and answer any questions that you may have.

Chaps My Ass has a large assortment of gloves, sunglasses, goggles....

Tools, Gremlin Bells, pins, patches, leather accessories, accent lights...

they also have name brand and the more popular sunglasses & goggles

They carry conchos, coffee cups, shot glasses and a selection of other biker novelties

Go down the steps and you'll find shirts, t-shirts and more accessories on the wall & tables

You'll also find plenty of leather jackets, vests, chaps, luggage, tour packs & windshield bags..

Just on the other side of the rack of vests, is the new room that will be accessable soon. There was a question as to whether or not Chaps My Ass was closing. Chaps My Ass definitely is NOT closing but rather, they are EXPANDING. The only biker apparel/accessory shop that closed recently, in the area, was Texoma Thunder in Wichita Falls Texas.

Go back upstairs and they have shirts, bandanna's and t-shirts and off to the right is a room that has a large selection of helmets, patches, tour packs and novelty head wraps. This was the set up as of our ride on July 14, 2010. However, Janelle said they were in the process of re-arranging the store, so next time we go up they will still have the all the merchandise, but will probably be in other locations around the store and in the new room.

Chaps My Ass also has a shop that they work on bikes in. Stop in today and check them out. It's a great scenic ride thru the area to get to Chaps My Ass and we here at North Texas Bikers highly recommend that you make Chaps My Ass a stop on your list if you live in the area or if you are on a road trip and are just passing thru. That will conclude this blog. I enjoyed visiting Chaps My Ass and seeing Janelle again, as did the other members of the ride.
