Jim owns Jim's Bike Detail Shop at 1001 Holliday St. in Wichita Falls Texas. He does bike/car/pick up State inspections, bike detailing, oil changes, tune ups etc. His phone number is 940-691-1121. Call Jim and see what he can do for you. He is very reasonable.
This is the Rally sign that they autographed and gave Jim. Check out this link for more on this rally: www.bikersadultrally.com.
Jim said there had been 3,800 folks at the rally and entered in the drawing for the bike. You can imagine how he felt when they called his name and he was the winner of this bike
Also at Jim's were, Dearl and Anne. He is thinking about selling his 2002 Sporty. Dearl has added a LOT of chrome extras and this is one of the better looking Sportsters in the area. I believe he is asking $6,ooo for his ride. It has a lot of extras. I will be doing a post here in the near future on Dearl and his bike with all the specs for ya.
Dearl & Anne by their Sportster at Jim's Bike Detail Shop 1001 Holliday. (on the corner at 10thSt/Holliday)
This is Jim and his 2008 Harley Fat Boy. Both Jim & Dearl are on my ride notice list now, so you will be seeing more of them in the future on our rides and rallies. I look forward to riding with them
Jim on his new 2010 Custom bike. The engine is a 103 cu in. and the bike runs great.
Jim is all smiles and I can't blame him. As big as I am, I would still be doing back flips..
Jim, sitting on his new ride, and Dearl & Jim looking on
The paint scheme on this bike is Outstanding!! this is the rear fender.
The custom made seat. This bike was built by Troy Nicholson with Lightning Cycle Works located at 4525 E. Belknap St. Haltom City, Texas. the phone number and web site for this fine motorcycle business is: 817-831-0700 and the link is: www.lightningmotorcyleworks.com
Anne & Dearl looking at Jim's bike at Jim's Bike Detail shop.
The gas tank paint scheme. I love this paint job!! Jim told me he filled the bike up and it took about 4.3 gallons which is not bad at all.
The bike is belt drive and when Jim fired the bike up, it sounded wicked..
A forward view. Better be careful and good at guessing speeds Jim with no gauges... LOL
This bike just oozes power. Can't wait to ride with Jim, when he's out puttin' around.
I forgot to ask Jim what the rake was on this bike. It's pretty good but not ridiculous to the point of having trouble in slow traffic or in slow turns.
Folks down at Jim's today are Jim, Jim, Anne and Dearl.
This is Jim's girlfriend's bike, a Screamin' Eagle Harley. And the paint job on her bike is pretty close to that on Jim's new bike.
This will conclude this post. CONGRATULATIONS on the win Jim. I can't wait to ride with you when you take it out. It was also great meeting Jim, Dearl and Anne. I look forward to riding with them also.
